We ensure you feel confident about taking out our boats, including practicing steering, understanding how to change locks and how the boat systems operate. With our comprehensive handover procedure there is no need to worry.
Included in the package:

  • One day practice on the river with one of our experienced qualified skippers
  • Comprehensive familiarisation session on your hire boat from a qualified skipper, covering 21 key points
  • Safety briefing and boat checks
  • 8 point check of your readiness to handle the boat
  • River Rescue Service and telephone support numbers
