• One day practice on the river with one of our experienced qualified skippers
• Comprehensive familiarisation session on your hire boat from a qualified skipper, covering 21 key points
• Safety briefing and boat checks
• 8 point check of your readiness to handle the boat
• River Rescue Service and telephone support numbers
